Blackwood Farm - Catfish Pond

We had the opportunity yesterday to meet with Dr. Lynn Blackwood, founder of the Virginia Aqua-Farmers Network, and tour his freshwater ponds devoted to growing catfish, hybrid striped bass, and rainbow trout.  Located in Meherrin, Virginia, Dr. Blackwood raises fish on land formerly devoted to tobacco farming, and also practices as a child psychologist.  For more information about his farm, please follow this link to his fishery profile.
