The Virginia Cooperative Extension (VCE) connects Virginia’s residents and business owners with resources available at the state’s land-grant universities, Virginia State University and Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech).
Extension specialists and agents work as educators throughout the state and utilize research conducted at the universities to help address problems confronting Virginians. VCE creates partnerships with numerous other organizations, both in the private and public sectors, in efforts to further aid societal, environmental, and economic goals.
